Here’s how to enable and use moves gestures on android 8 Oreo 8.1 devices. Android Oreo includes 5 useful moves gestures too for notifications and camera-related shortcuts settings. These Android gestures include Swipe fingerprint for notifications, Jump to the camera, Flip camera, Active Edge, Flip to Shhh, Double-tap to check phone, Prevent ringing, and lift to check the phone. You can quickly access notification to swipe fingerprint on Google Pixel XL devices.

Different android device has slightly different settings to enable gesture on android Oreo 8.1 or Nougat 7.1.2 devices. Below you can see the complete process to enable moves gesture on android 8.0 and android 7.1.2 devices.

Enable moves to gesture on Android 8.0 Oreo

Step 1: Go to settings in your android Oreo devices.

Step 2: Scroll down up to the system and tap on the system.

Step 3: Tap on Language & input.

Tap on advance under languages settings in android O

Step 4: Tap on advanced.

Under the moves section, you can see below 5 moves gesture in your android Oreo 8.0 devices.

Swipe fingerprint for notifications

By default turn off this fingerprint gesture in your android O. To check your notifications, swipe down on the fingerprint sensor on the back of your devices such as Google Pixel, Pixel XL, etc. if you want to use this android O’s gesture, enable it in your device.

Jump to camera

Press the power button twice to quickly open the camera from any screen in your android phone. By default enable Jump to camera moves gesture in Android Oreo.
