4 Ways to Take a Screenshot on Google Pixel Fold

My favorite method is a quick tap gesture to screenshot on Google Pixel Fold quickly.

1st Way: Use Quick Tap Gesture to Take a Screenshot on Pixel Fold

You can take screenshots to double tap on the back of your Google Pixel Fold using quick tap action. Select Take a Screenshot on the quick tap action on your Pixel phone.

Step 1: Open the Settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap System.

Step 3: Tap Gestures.

Step 4: Tap Qucik tap to start actions.

Step 5: Toggle on Use Quick Tap.

Step 6: Choose to Take Screenshot.

Step 7: Open the screen you want to capture.

Step 8: Double-tap on the back of your Pixel Fold to take a screenshot.

You can see the screenshot notifications at the bottom of your screen. Also, share or edit the screenshot here without opening it. 

Other functions you can access using these quick tap gestures are play or pause media, see recent apps, access your digital Assistant, toggle the flashlight, open any app (Choose from the list), or show notifications on the status bar.

Where do Screenshots on Google Pixel Fold?

Open the Google Photos app > Library > Screenshots to find saved screenshots.

2nd Way: Use Power & Volume Down Buttons

Step 1: Find the screen you want to screenshot.

Step 2: Long-press the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.

You can see the screenshot captured on your Pixel Fold.

3rd Way: Use Recent Apps

Step 1: Swipe and hold from the bottom of the screen to view all recent apps listed.

Step 2: Tap the Screenshot at the bottom to capture a screenshot.

4th Way: Use Google Assistant 

Step 1: Open the screen or web page you want to screenshot.

Step 2: Launch the Google Assistant to say Hey Google or OK Google.

Step 3:  When launching the Assistant, say Take a screenshot.

You can see the screenshot at the top of the screen and share, edit, or delete it.

How to Take a Scrolling Screenshot (Long Screenshot) on Google Pixel Fold 

If you want to take a multiple-page screenshot at once or on a larger screen than your phone, you can use the scrolling capture feature on your Google Pixel Fold and other Pixel devices.

Step 1: Take a screenshot using one of the above-given methods.

Step 2: Tap the Capture More button at the bottom of the screenshot notifications.

Step 3: Drag the Window you want to take a screenshot of the page.

Step 4: Tap on Edit (Pencil Icon) at the bottom right corner to edit the screenshot.

Step 5: Tap Save at the top right corner to save the screenshot.

Find your screenshots in your Pixel Fold’s Google Photos app.
