Android Q Beta 4 features

Google launched Android Q Beta 4 features for Pixel and other supported devices. This Android Q Beta 4 includes Adaptive notifications, Google play card in Power menu, use notifications Bubbles, back gesture icon, Notification swipe from both sides, Face authentication, new accent colors, dynamic system update and more.

Google already said about the dark mode, gesture navigation, Digital Wellbeing on Google I/O 2019.  You can install android Q Beta 4 on Pixel and other device using OTA update or manually flash system images in your device. Adaptive notifications

You can see new adaptive notifications options under apps and notification settings. It will use to automatically set priority notifications as low and show suggested actions and replies. Also, turn on hiding icon from gentle notifications in your android Q Beta 4.

Two options available here including Automatic prioritization and suggested actions & replies.

Bubbles

Quickly access app content from anywhere using floating shortcuts. To access the bubble, tap it. Some notification & content can appear as bubbles on the screen. Enable or disable bubbles notification on Android Q Beta 4 using below settings.

Dark theme in Pixel launcher & display

In Android Q Beta 3, you can see Light or Dark theme options. But in this Android Q Beta 4, you can see only Dark theme option under display settings. One of my favorite Android Q Beta 4 features.

Android Q Beta 4 back gesture

This is a new added handy feature useful to just swipe the left side from play store, YouTube, Photos apps and other settings to back without using the back button or other gesture. To use back gesture in Android Q Beta 4, make sure enabled fully gesture navigation in your android Q Beta 4 devices.

Settings > System > Gestures > System navigation > Fully gestural navigation

Now open play store or YouTube and swipe left side screen and you can see back gesture icon (<) in your Pixel and other android devices.

Notification swiped by both side

Now you can close notifications on lock screen & home screen from both swipe right side or left side in your Android Q Beta 4.

New Accent color on Android Q Beta 4

Added new accent color compare to previous Android Q Beta. You can see added new accent color in Android Q 10 using developer mode. Make sure to enable developer mode on Android 10 Q.

Android Q Beta 4 features for Pixel

Developer options > Theming section (At the end of the page) > Accent color > Device default, Black, Green, purple, Cinnamon, Ocean, Space and Orchid
