Do you want to change or set up apn settings on your Android phones or tablets? Here’s how to change mobile APN settings. You can change the APN name, add APN and delete APN using APN settings on your Android devices. In access name points settings, you can edit APN name, APN type, APN Protocol, Bearer, APN roaming protocol, etc. Different devices have slightly different settings to view APN settings (Depending on the Android version & device). Apply the below steps to change access point names in Android devices.
What is Access Point Mean?
APN stands for Access point names. The access point helps transmit and receive data using a Wireless LAN (PC or Laptop) or Wi-Fi as a communication device.

What is APN Setting?
The APN settings help connect your phone to your carrier’s mobile network and the internet. Not all carriers are supported by manually setting the APN settings. Some carriers require you to enter the APN settings to set up your mobile APN.
How to Change Mobile APN Settings: Android 13, Android 12, and Android 11 (Google Pixels)
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap Network & internet.
Step 3: Tap SIMs or your carrier name.
Step 4: Scroll down and tap Access Point Names at the bottom.
You can see your default APN settings for carriers.
Step 5: Tap on Carrier to view current APN details.
Step 6: Tap the Option you want to edit and press OK.
Step 7: Tap Three vertical dots (More) at the top right corner and click Save.
How to Reset to Default APN Settings Android
Settings > Network & internet > SIMs or Carrier > Access Point Names > Three vertical dots > Reset to default.
How to Add New APN Settings Android
Settings > Network & internet > SIM Card or Carrier > Access Point Names > + Icon at the top right > Edit the details> Tap Three vertical dots at the upper right corner > Save.
How to Delete APN on Android
Settings > Network & internet > SIMs or Carrier > Access Point Names > Tap Your Carrier > Three vertical dots at the top right > Delete APN.

Add New APN on T Mobile
Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Three vertical dots (Menu) > New APN >
Reset APN on T Mobile
Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Three vertical dots (Menu) > Reset to default
AT&T Access Point Names Settings
Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access Point Names > Add or + Sign to add a new APN > Add details > Three vertical dots at the top right > Save.

Change APN in Android Marshmallow (6.1.2) and Lollipop (5.1.2)
Step 1: Open Settings on your Android.
Step 2: Under the connection section, tap on Mobile networks.
Step 3: Tap on Access point names.
Step 4: Select SIM 1/SIM 2, and tap on Settings.
Step 5: Tap on APN.
Step 6: Edit the APN name & press OK.
Add New Access Point Names on Android
Step 1: Open Settings.
Step 2: Under the connection section, tap on Mobile networks.
Step 3: Tap on Access point names.
Step 4: Tap on Add on top of the right side.
Step 5: Add all APN settings, then tap More in the top right corner.
Step 6: Tap on Save.
Delete Access Point Names in Android
Step 1: Open Settings.
Step 2: Under the connection section, tap on Mobile networks.
Step 3: Tap on Access point names.
Step 4: Tap on Settings.
Step 5: Tap on More in the top right side corner.
Step 6: Tap on Delete APN.
You can also reset default APN settings using the below settings
Settings > Mobile networks > Axcess Point Names > More in top right side corner > Reset to default > OK
When you tap on reset to default, show the above message on your screen.
All the APNs you have created will be deleted. Click OK to reset the default APN settings on your Android 5.1.2 (Lollipop).
