Forced Restart Your Google Pixel

Long press the power button for up to 30-35 seconds until you see the Google logo on your device. Wait until your device is powered on and check to fix the issue.

Charge your Pixel after Fully Discharging

Wait until the complete discharge of your Pixel device. After discharge, make sure to power off your device. Now, put your phone into charging for 30-40 minutes, check your Pixel device turns on, and fix the black screen problem.

Turn On Safe Mode

Make sure the phone is switched off.

Step 1: Press the Power button. When the Google logo appears, press & hold the volume down button. Keep holding until the animation ends and your Pixel starts in safe mode.

How to Fix Black Screen on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL

Step 3: Now, see the safe mode icon at the screen’s bottom left corner.

Now, check to fix the Pixel 3 black screen issue. If you can’t find any issue, it means any third-party app is causing it. Remove the recently installed apps one by one and check the fix issue. To exit safe mode, restart your Pixel devices.

Factory Reset Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL using Recovery Mode

Before applying this method, back up your important data to another phone or PC. Apply the below settings to fix the Pixel 3 stuck on a black screen.

Step 1: Power off your Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL.

Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until your phone vibrates.

Now, the Android system recovery screen is a view on your phone. By default, the Start button shows on your Google Pixel 3 screen.

Fix Pixel 3 black screen problem

Step 3: Press the volume down button until you view recovery mode.

Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode.

You can see the Android robot exclamation mark with a red triangle symbol with No command on your Pixel 3 device.

Step 5: Press & hold the power button, press the volume up button once only, and then release only the volume up button.

Pixel 3 recovery mode options include reboot system now, reboot to bootloader, Apply update from ADB, Wipe data/factory reset, and more settings.

Step 6: Press the volume down button until Wipe data/factory reset.

Step 7: Press the Power button to wipe cache data.

This message appears on the screen: Wipe all user data? By default, select No option.

Step 8: Press the volume down button to select Yes.

Step 9: Press the power button to factory reset Pixel 3.

Wait until wipe the cache data in your Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Step 10: Use the volume up button to move the reboot system now.

Step 11: Press the power button to reboot the Pixel 3 system.

Now check your Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 black screen issue. I hope this method works for your problem.
