Annoying that suddenly Google Pixel phone won’t turn on or charge issues? Here’s how to fix Google Pixel 7 Pro that won’t turn on or dead problem. Reasons behind your Google Pixel 7 won’t charge or turn on include physical damage, battery discharge, appear/disappear battery symbol, corrupt data or app, software glitch, or charging issues.

Force Restart your Pixel

Long-press the power button for 10-15 seconds and check whether Pixel turns on or not.

Charge your Google Pixel with the Original Charger

Plug your phone with a cable and charge it for 1-2 minutes. If you can see a battery icon, your Pixel is switched off. If your Pixel battery is fully discharged, put your phone into charging for 30-40 minutes. Also, check if the cable/charging port or wall outlet problem is damaged.  

Check Physical Damage

Make sure your Google Pixel’s screen isn’t damaged, cracked, or liquid damage. 

Boot into Safe Mode Google Pixel When Power Off

Sometimes third-party apps cause problems in your Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. You need to enter your Pixel 7/7 Pro into safe mode and check if the downloaded app is causing the problem. If the app is causing the issues, you don’t need to factory reset or hard reset your Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 device.

Step 1: Press your Pixel’s power button.

Step 2: When your phone vibrates (G logo Animation starts), press & hold the volume down button. Keep holding until your Pixel 7 pro start in safe mode.

Step 3: View the Safe mode icon at the bottom left corner.

If you’re Google Pixel start in safe mode, that means any downloaded app causing the issue. Find the app causing the problem and remove it. Restart your Pixel to exit safe mode. Now, delete one-by-one recently downloaded app until you find the app causing the problem. After that, re-install other apps from the play store.

Wipe Data/Factory Reset Pixel 7 Pro & Pixel 7 using Recovery Mode

It will delete all your phone data. Make sure to back up your Pixel’s essential data before performing this.

Step 1: Tap & hold the Power & volume down buttons simultaneously until the screen wakes up with the Start menu.

Step 2: Press the Volume down button until you view the Recovery mode.

Step 3: Press the Power button.

Step 4: View the “No command” with the Android robot exclamation mark icon on your screen.

Step 5: Tap & hold the power button and still press the volume up button once to boot into recovery mode.

You can view Android recovery mode settings.

How to Fix Google Pixel 7 Pro that Won’t Turn On to Factory Reset

Step 6: Press the Volume down key until you select Wipe data/factory reset.

Step 7: Press the Power button to continue.

Step 8: Press the Volume down key to select Factory data reset.

Step 9: Press the Power button to wipe Pixel 7/7 pro data using recovery mode.

You can see the wiping data/formatting data process at the bottom left corner of your Google Pixel. You can see the Reboot system now when the process is finished. Wait until complete the process is done.

Step 10: Press the Power button to start your Google Pixel.

Now, your Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro reset factory default settings. You can back up all your data using your Google account. 

Repair or Replace your Pixel 7 Pro/Pixel 7
