1st Method: Reboot your Pixel 3 phone
It will improve performance & fix small bugs of your Pixel 3 device sometimes. Log press the power button & tap Restart button to reboot your device. Now try to make a call and check fix problem or not.
2nd Method: Check Pixel 3 phone volume is full

Step 1: Long press the power button on your Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL
Step 2: Touch & hold Power off button until view Reboot to safe mode
Step 3: Press OK to boot into safe mode Pixel 3
Now wait until Pixel 3 restart.
Step 4: You can see Safe mode symbol on bottom left corner
Now all downloaded apps are disable from your device. Try to make a phone call and check hear sound on calls. If you properly hear sound without any problems, it means third party apps causing issue in your device. Now exit safe mode on Pixel 3 to restarting it. 6th Method: Factory reset Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL 9.0 Pie
Back up important data safely before factory reset Google Pixel 3. It will remove all phone data and reset all phone settings.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel 3 Pie
Step 2: Scroll down up to end of the page and Tap System
Step 3: Tap Advanced
Step 4: Tap Reset options
Step 5: Tap Erase all data (Factory reset)
Step 6: Tap Reset phone
Step 7: Confirm your PIN number or Password or Pattern lock to continue
Step 8: Tap Erase everything
