How to fix Pixel 2 stuck on Google logo

You can fix this problem using recovery mode settings on your Google Pixel, Pixel 2 and upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Pie 9.0 if error occurs.

Factory reset Pixel 2 & Pixel 2XL to fix stuck on G logo screen

Before Pixel 2 factory reset, back up your important data to another device. It will delete all your Google Pixel 2 information such as Google account, internal storage, photos, videos, music and all other data.

Step 1: Switch off your Pixel 2 Oreo or Pie 9.0

Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until your phone screen vibrate.

Now Android system recovery screen is view on your phone. By default start button show on your Google Pixel 2 screen.

Step 3: Press the volume down button until view recovery mode

Step 4: Tap the power button to restart into recovery mode

Now appear the screen of android robot exclamation mark with red triangle symbol with No command on Pixel 2 device.

Step 5: Press & hold power button and press volume up button one time only and then release only volume up button

You can see Google Pixel 2 recovery mode options that including reboot system now, reboot to bootloader, Apply update from ADB, Wipe data/factory reset, power off, and more settings.

Step 6: Tap volume down button until Wipe data/factory reset

Step 7: Press Power button perform wipe cache data

You can see this message: Wipe all user data? By default selected No option.

Step 8: Press volume down button to select Yes

Step 9: Press power button to factory reset Pixel 2

Wait until wipe data in your Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Step 10: Use volume up button to move reboot system now and press power button to reboot Pixel 2 device
