Here’s how to enter into recovery mode on Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6. When you boot your Google Pixel 6 Pro in recovery mode, you can see several android recovery modes like a reboot to bootloader, enter fastboot, apply update from ADB, Wipe data/factory reset, Mount/system, run graphic test, etc. Using recovery mode, you’ll perform a hard reset or master reset your Pixel 6 Pro using the power & volume down button when you forgot password/PIN/Pattern lock, Pixel 6 Pro won’t turn on, Pixel 6 Pro stuck on G logo, etc.

Make sure to power off your Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

Step 1: Long press the power button until view the power menu and tap the Power off to switch off your Pixels.

Step 2: Touch & hold the power & volume down button until Start button view.

You can use volume up and down key to select different menus including start, restart bootloader, recovery mode, power off, barcode, and rescue mode).

Step 3: Press the volume down until see Recovery mode.

Step 4: Press the Power key to start your Pixel 6 Pro into recovery mode.

Step 5: Wait 10-20 seconds and you can view the Android Robot exclamation mark with No command icon on the screen.

Step 6: Tap and hold power key and press the volume up key once only to open Android recovery screen.

Google Pixel 6 Pro/Pixel 6 recovery mode includes Reboot system now, Reboot to bootloader, Apply update from ADB, Apply update from SD card, Wipe data/factory reset, power off, etc.

Step 7: Use volume up and down key to select the option and press the power key to apply it.

It will delete all your phone data including internal storage, Google account, system apps & settings, etc. Back up your data before applying a factory reset on your Pixel 6 Pro.

Step 1: Open the app drawer and tap on Settings App.

Step 2: Scroll down at the end and tap on System.

Step 3: Scroll down again and tap the Reset options.

Step 4: Tap the Erase all data (Factory reset).

Step 5: Check the box Erase downloaded SIMs to remove the SIM data and tap Erase all data button at the bottom right.

Step 6: Unlock your Pixel screen.

Step 7: Tap Erase all data.
