Want to block private numbers on Google Pixel 4a? Here’s how to unblock or block a number on Pixel 4a (Stock Android 11). When you block an unwanted number or unknown callers, you won’t get calls or text messages from that phone numbers in your Pixels (Compatible with Pixel 5, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 3a, 3a XL, Pixel 3, 3 XL, Pixel 2, and 2 XL). How to Block or Unblock Numbers on Google Pixel 4a 5G
There are 3 ways to permanently block a number from calling you in your latest Pixel 4a, 4a 5G, and Pixel 5 devices.
1st Method: How to Block a Number Using Recent Calls List in Pixel 4a, 5, 4 XL, 4, 3a XL, 3a, 3, 3 XL, 2, 2 XL
Step 1: Open the Phone app in your Pixel 4a & other Pixels.
You can see the recent phone calls list.
Step 2: Tap & hold the private number or name you want to block and tap on Block/report junk.
Check or uncheck the box of report call as spam.
Step 3: Tap on Block.
You can see blocked that number in your Pixels.
Alternative Way: Phone app > Recent tab > Tap on number > History > Three vertical dots at the top right corner > Block > Block
How to Unblock Number in Pixel 4a
Step 1: To unlock a number, tap & hold the blocked number (follow above steps 1 & 2) and tap Unblock.
Step 2: Tap Unblock.
2nd Method: How to Block a Number on Pixel 4a Using Phone App
Step 1: Open the Phone app.
Step 2: Tap on Three vertical dots at the top right.
Step 3: Touch Settings.
Step 4: Tap Blocked numbers.
Step 5: Toggle on Unknown (Show below given screenshot) to block calls from unknown numbers.
Step 6: Tap on Add a number to add a private number.
Step 7: Enter the phone number and touch on Block.

Step 2: Tap the × icon in front of the blocked number.
Step 3: Tap Unblock.
3rd Method: How to Block Private Numbers on Pixel 4a Using Contact App
Step 1: Open the Contact app in your Pixels.
Step 2: Tap on Contact you want to block.
Step 3: Tap Three vertical dots at the top right.
Step 4: Tap Block numbers.
Step 5: Tap on Block.
To unblock the number, Open that blocked contact using the contact app > More > Unblock numbers > Unblock
Alternative Way: Open Contact app > Three horizontal lines at the top left corner > Settings > Tap Blocked numbers at the end in Manage contacts section > Add a number > Enter mobile number > Block
