Here’s how to make your number private on Google Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 4, 4 XL, Pixel 3a, 3a XL, Pixel 3, 3 XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL (Running stock Android 11 OS). By default caller ID set as network default in your Pixel devices. Choose show number or hide number to hide caller ID on Google Pixel 5. You can enable caller ID & spam protection also to block spam calls on your Google Pixel 5. Also, block an unknown number to stop calls and messages in your Pixel devices.

How to Hide Caller ID on Google Pixel 5
You can block or hide your number when making calls on Google Pixel Smartphone using the given settings. Make sure the phone app updated with the latest version.
Step 1: Open the App drawer in your Google Pixel 5 and other Pixel.
Step 2: Tap Phone app.
Step 3: Tap on Three vertical dots (More) at the upper right side.
Step 4: Tap Settings.
Step 5: Tap Calls.
Step 6: Tap Additional settings.
Step 7: Tap on Caller ID.
Step 8: Choose Hide number. The other two options are Network default (By default) and Show number.
How to Enable Caller ID & Spam (Filter Spam Calls) on Pixel Smartphone
Step 1: Open the Phone app in your Pixel.
Step 2: Tap on More at the top right.
Step 3: Tap Settings.
Step 4: Tap Caller ID & spam.
Step 5: Toggle on See caller and spam ID.
It will use to identify spam numbers in your Pixel Smartphone.
Note: If you’ve installed the Beta version of a Phone app, you can see filter spam calls and verified calls options in your Pixel.
How to Block a Number on Pixel 5
Step 1: Open the Phone app in your Pixel.
Step 2: Touch & hold the number or name on the recent contacts list.
Step 3: Tap on Block/report junk.
Step 4: Tap on Block.
Step 5: To unblock a number, touch & hold the blocked number and tap on Unblock.
Alternative Way: Phone app > More > Settings > Blocked numbers > Add a number > Enter the mobile number > Block
You can also enable unknown toggle to block calls from unknown numbers in your Google Pixel Smartphone.
