Here’s how to factory reset Google Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6. When you perform a factory reset on your Pixel 6 Pro, it will remove all your data, including your Google account, system & app data, photos, videos, downloaded apps, and other data. Make sure to back up & restore your important data before performing it. You can apply hard reset (Master reset) on Pixel 6 Pro using hardware keys (Power and Volume buttons) if a forgot password/pattern, black screen of death, Pixel won’t turn on, unresponsive touch screen, and other issues.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel twice and tap on the Settings icon.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on System.

Step 3: Scroll down again and tap on the Reset options.

Step 4: Tap on Erase all data (Factory reset).

You can see the list of data removed from your device after resetting your Pixel.

Step 5: Check the box Erase downloaded SIMs if you want to remove it, tap on Erase all data at the bottom right corner.

Step 6: Confirm your lock screen.

All your personal information and downloaded data will be deleted.

Step 7: Tap on Erase all data button to master reset your phone.

After resetting your phone, you can see all Pixel phone settings set as default settings.

How to Factory Reset Google Pixel 6 Pro Without Password

Step 1: Tap and hold the power button until you view the power menu and tap Power off.

Step 2: Touch & hold power & volume down buttons simultaneously until the Start option appears.

Step 3: Press the Volume down button until you view Recovery mode.

Step 4: Press the Power button to enter recovery mode on Google Pixel 6 Pro.

Step 5: You can see the Android Robot exclamation mark with the No command icon on the screen.

Step 6: Touch & hold the power button and press the volume up button once only to enter the Android recovery screen.

This recovery mode includes rebooting the system, rebooting to bootloader, Applying updates from ADB, Applying updates from SD card, Wiping data/factory reset, etc.

Step 7: Press the volume down button until highlight Wipe data/factory reset.

Step 8: Press the Power button.

This message display: Wipe all user data? This cannot be undone!

Step 9: Press the volume down button to select Factory data reset.

Step 10: Press the Power button to access it.

After completing the process, the default highlights the reboot system now.

Step 11: Press the Power button to reboot the system.
