You can change default apps in Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL and other android devices using apps & notification settings. By default set apps in your Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL and other latest android devices. In default app manager settings, default set phone app, SMS app, music app, calendar app, home app (Pixel launcher), browser app, and more. How to Change and Set Default Apps in Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3
By default pre-installed apps on Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL and other android devices. If you change default app settings, apply below settings.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Scroll down at the end of the page and Tap Advanced.
Here you can see recently opened apps, time spent in apps, apps notifications, default apps, app permissions and special app access.
Step 4: Tap default apps.
By default apps set for home, text message (SMS), phone, music, calendar, and other default app manager.
Step 5: Tap app you want to change the default app.
Step 6: Choose from the list you want to set default messaging apps/call apps/phone apps.
Now change the default apps on the Google Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3. If you want again use default apps on your device, clear default apps on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL using below given settings.
