Do you want to upload high-quality photos and videos on Instagram on your Android or iPhone devices? In this tutorial, I’ll show you steps to enable high-quality uploads on Instagram app. Ensure high-resolution media is set as WiFi only in your Instagram account settings to Instagram high-quality uploads videos (Use 4K Uploads) and photos from your phone. When the data saver is turned on, the video won’t load, which will help you use less cellular data. Also, automatically download or save your uploaded Instagram videos and photos to your phone gallery.

How to Enable High-Quality Uploads on Instagram [2023]
You can upload high-quality posts (Photos and Videos) on your Instagram app using the below-given settings.
How to High-Quality Upload Instagram Photos and Videos on Android and iPhone
Step 1: Open the Instagram app and sign in with your account.
Step 2: Tap the Profile icon at the bottom right corner.
Step 3: Tap on Three horizontal lines (Menu) at the top right corner.
Step 4: Tap Settings.
Step 5: Tap Account.
Step 6: Tap Cellular data use.
Step 7: Toggle on Data Saver.
Step 8: Tap High-resolution media.
Step 9: Choose a WiFi only to upload high-quality videos and photos to your Instagram account.
Other options are Never and Cellular+WiFi.
How to Download Photos or Videos to Your Android or iPhone
Step 1: Follow the above-given method in steps 1 to 5.
Step 2: Tap on Original posts.
Step 3: Toggle on Save original posts.
Step 4: Toggle on Save posted photos/Save posted videos.
All the photos and videos you’ve uploaded to the Instagram post will be saved to your phone’s gallery (Instagram folder).

For Older Instagram Version
Step 1: Open the App drawer in your device.
Step 2: Tap the Instagram app.
Step 3: Tap on the Profile icon at the bottom right corner.
Step 4: Tap on Three vertical dots from the top right corner.
Step 5: Scroll down to the settings section, and tap Upload quality.
You can see two options, one is Normal, and the other is Basic. By default, upload quality is set as Normal. If your photos are sometimes post-black or partially black, then select basic.
Step 6: Tap on basic.
