Here’s how to enable and use gestures in Pixel 3a and 3a XL. You can see different Google Pixel 3a gestures include Active Edge, swipe fingerprint for notifications, jump to camera, flip to the camera, system navigation, double-tap to check phone, lift to check phone, Flip to Shhh, and prevent ringing. To use Google gestures, go to system settings in your Pixel devices. My favorite gesture is Active edge and swipes fingerprint for notifications.

How to Use Google Pixel 3a Gestures
You can find Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL gestures under system settings.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top of the screen and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Scroll down up to the end of the page and tap System.
This Pixel 3a system setting includes languages & input, Gestures, Date & time, backup, reset options, multiple users, developer options, and system updates.
Step 3: Tap Gestures.

Squeeze the edges to quickly launch the Google Assistant in your Pixel devices.

Swipe fingerprint for notifications
Swipe down on the fingerprint sensor on the back of your Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL to view notifications on the lock screen. Turn on the swipe fingerprint for notifications toggle in your pixel device. Also, enable it using the below settings.
Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > Enable swipe fingerprint for notifications
Double-tap to check phone
Want to show notifications without unlocking your device? Using this gesture, just double-tap on your screen to quickly show notification on the lock screen in your devices. Turn on toggle to activate gestures in Pixel 3a & 3a XL.
Lift to check phone
Enable lift to check the phone and pick up your Pixel 3a to quickly show notifications.
Jump to camera
Press the power button twice to quickly access the camera in your android device from any screen. Enable or disable Jump to camera gesture in your device.
Flip camera
When open camera in your pixel, double twist device to quickly switch between front camera & rear camera.
Prevent ringing
If you want to mute a sound while your device is ringing, press power & volume up button at the same time to vibrate or mute device.
Flip to Shhh
When turning on Flip to Shhh on your Pixel devices, it will automatically turn on do not disturb mode on your phone. Place your phone face down on a flat surface. Toggle on Flipp to Shhh.
