Set up a Wi-Fi hotspot on Android 10, 9 Pie and Oreo 8.1
Step 1: Go to settings in your Android 10 and 9.
Step 2: Tap Network and internet.
Step 3: Tap Hotspot & tethering.
Step 4: Tap Wi-Fi hotspot.
Step 5: Turn on Toggle to enable Wi-Fi hotspot Android

For Android 5.1.2 Lollipop and Marshmallow 6.0
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your android lollipop 5.1.2 and 6.0 device.

Step 4: Click on “More” from the top of the right side corner.

You can easily change the default network name of the mobile hotspot. In the security settings you can choose from the below two options:
- Open: In this option, any device can connect to your AP without entering a password. You can also use advanced options to set the broadcast channel on your android smartphone.
- WPA2 PSK: Be default selected. You can use this password when connected to another device using a mobile hotspot. Also, change the default security password of the mobile hotspot.
