By default, Gboard is set as the default keyboard on your Google Pixel devices. Here’s how to change the keyboard language on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. You can add another language (Multiple Languages) to the keyboard in Pixel. When you add a language to the keyboard, you can turn multilingual typing on or off to display word suggestions while you type automatically. How to Change Keyboard Language on Your Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
You can add multiple languages to the keyboard on your Google Pixel devices.
Add a Language to Keyboard in Pixel Devices
Go to Settings, scroll down until you view System, and tap it.
Tap the Keyboard > On-screen keyboard.
Tap Gboard.
Tap the Languages.
Tap Add keyboard.
You can see the list of languages.
Tap the Language you want to add, choose a keyboard layout, and tap Done.
Add a language to your keyboard list.
To change the language position, tap & hold the language and move it up or down if you want.

To switch keyboard language in Google Pixel, open any chat app and long-press the space bar to view all languages. Tap the keyboard language you want to set.
How to Remove Keyboard Language on Google Pixel
You can’t remove all languages on your device. Select the multiple languages you want to delete from the keyboard list.
To delete the keyboard language, go to Settings > System > Keyboard > On-screen keyboard > Gboard > Languages > Pencil icon at the top right corner > Tick mark the language you want to delete > Trash icon at the top right.
How to Change the Keyboard Layout on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
You can set one-handed mode for the keyboard on your Google Pixel. Choose a Right-handed mode or left-handed mode.
To change the keyboard’s one-handed mode, go to Settings > System > Keyboard > On-screen keyboard > Gboard > Preferences > One-handed mode in the layout section > Choose an option.
