Do you want to set any song as a ringtone on your Google Pixel devices? In this tutorial, I’ll teach you how to set a custom ringtone on Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. You can change the ringtone on Pixel 8 Pro from the default phone ringtones or choose a mp3 song or audio file from your phone.
You can assign the ringtone to individual contacts in Pixel 8 and other devices to identify the caller’s name without viewing it on the screen. Also, download Pixel 8 ringtones to your device.

How to Set Custom Ringtone on Your Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
Make sure to ringtone, mp3 songs, or audio files download to your Pixel phone to set your Pixel 8 custom ringtone:
Swipe to the top to access the quick settings panel & tap the Settings gear icon at the bottom right corner.
Tap the Settings > Sound & vibration.
Tap the Phone ringtone. You can see the default Pixel ringtones category like Pixel sounds, Gems, Natural elements, Classical harmonies, etc.
Tap My Sounds to select a custom audio file.
Tap the + icon at the bottom right.
Choose an audio file or any mp3 song from your Google Pixel device.
Select a phone ringtone you recently added and tap Save at the top right corner.

Settings > Sounds & Vibration > Phone Ringtone > Tap any Category > Choose a Ringtone you want to set.
How to Set a Song as Ringtone for a Specific Contact on Google Pixel: Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
You can set a different ringtone for each contact on your Pixel devices using the settings below.
Open the Contacts app.
Tap any Contact you want to assign a ringtone.
Tap Three vertical dots (More) at the upper right corner and tap Set ringtone.
Tap My Sounds and select the ringtone from your phone.
Select a ringtone and tap Save at the top right corner.
