Google Pixel 8’s Magic editor feature helps move your subjects around, improve backgrounds, and more. You can also change the colour of the sky and sea, add various clouds, and use more fancy effects.
Note: Make sure to back up the photo using the magic editor on the selected picture.
Open the Google Photos app on your Google Pixel 8.
Tap the Photo you want to use the Magic editor feature.
Tap Edit in the bottom middle.
Tap the Magic Editor icon at the bottom left corner.
Tap Circle or brush to select the image portion you want to move or erase. Tap & hold selected are to move or resize or drag to move, pinch to zoom in the selected area. Tap Erase to remove that portion.
Tap the Sparkle Icon at the bottom middle to add effects to the image.

Tap Save Copy in the bottom right corner.
