Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 phones add a new quick tap gesture to take a screenshot quickly, turn the flashlight on/off, promptly access any app, recent open apps, and more functions. You can customize back-tap gestures on Pixel phones, including taking a screenshot, see recent apps, access your digital assistant, etc. Also, enabling requires stronger taps that can be useful if you accidentally trigger the gesture on your Google Pixel devices.

How to Enable Back Tap Function (Gesture) on Google Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, Pixel 6a, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a 5G
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top and tap on the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on System.
Step 3: Tap on Gestures.
Step 4: Tap on Quick Tap to Start Actions.
Step 5: Make sure toggle on Use Quick Tap.
These quick tap gestures are helpful to capture a screenshot (By default), accessing your digital assistant, pay or pause media, see recent apps, show notifications, and open app options.
Step 6: Choose the option you want to use.
Step 7: Tap twice on the back of your Pixel phone to apply it.
