Make sure to back up the photo to the Google Photos app to use a magic editor in your Pixel 8 series.
Step 1: Open your Google Photos app on Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 devices.
Step 2: Tap Any photo that is backed up.
Step 3: Tap the Edit button at the bottom.
