Do you want to change the default language on your Google Pixel 8 series? In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to change the phone language on Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. You can add multiple languages to the list and set the default Pixel 8 language. Selecting a language will apply to your system, apps, and other preferred language. Anytime you change the language on your Android phone back to English or the default country language.

How to Change the Phone Language on Your Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
You can add multiple languages and change the language order on your Google Pixel:

Open the app drawer & tap the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap System.
Tap the Languages.
Tap System Languages in the preferred languages section.
Tap on Add a Language.
Tap the Language you want to add to the list.
You can see the language you add to your list. To set the preferred language on your Pixel, long-press it and move it to the top position to set the default Google Pixel 8 Pro language.
How to Remove Language on Google Pixel
You can remove multiple languages on your device. Ensure that one language is set as preferred.
To delete a language on the Pixel, go to Settings > System > Languages > System languages > Three vertical dots at the top right corner > Remove > Select the language you want to delete > Trash icon at the upper right corner > Remove.
How to Change App Language on Google Pixel: Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro
You can choose a language for each app on your Pixel devices:
Go to Settings > System > Languages.
Tap the App languages.
Tap any app you want to set the language and choose an app language from the list.
