How to Fix Google Pixel App Crashing Issue
If facing issue of Facebook or WhatsApp or YouTube app crashing problem on Pixel or any other Android device, apply below given possible solutions.
Restart your Pixel
Press and hold the power button on your Pixel device and tap on Restart to reboot your Pixel phone.
Check System Software Update
Check any system software updates are available or not. It will fix critical bugs and improves the performance of your Google Pixel phone.
Settings > System > About phone > System updates > Check for update
Settings > System > Advacned > System update > Check for update (Pixel Running Android 10 & Android 11)
Check App Updates on Google Pixel & Pixel XL
Check the apps update available using the below settings on your android device.
Play Store > Menu at the top left corner > My apps & games > Update all
Clear Cache Data For All Apps to fix Google Pixel App Crashing Problem
Step 1: Go to Settings on your Android device.
Step 2: Under the device menu, tap on Storage.
Here you can view used data by apps, images, videos, audio, system, cache data, and more.
Step 3: Tap on Cache data & press OK.
Also, manage storage and manually free up space in your Google Pixel device using the below settings.
Settings > Device > Storage > Manage storage > Free up space now > Photos & videos/Download/App
Clear App Cache on Pixel – Individually app
Before clear the app cache in Pixel phone, first of all, check which apps used more space. Also, check using sort by maximum use memory by apps in your device.
Settings > Device > Memory > Memory used by apps
Step 1: Go to Settings.

Uninstall Android System Webview Update to Fix Pixel Apps Keep Crashing issue
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap on Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap on See all apps.
Step 4: Tap on the Android system webview.
Step 5: Tap on Three vertical dots (Menu) at the upper right corner.
Step 6: Tap on the Uninstall updates.
It will replace this app with the factory version on your Google Pixel devices. All data will be removed.
Step 7: Tap on OK.
Now, restart your phone and update the app and you can see the fixed app crashing issue.
Enable Safe Mode on Google Pixel
To use safe mode, turn on safe mode in Pixel XL device using the below-given steps.
Step 1: Press and hold the power button on your Google Pixel device.
Step 2: Touch and hold the Power off button until view reboot to safe mode.
Step 3: Press OK to reboot safe mode.
It will take 20-30 seconds to reboot your device.
Step 4: View the “Safe mode” symbol below the left side corner.
Now all third-party apps disabled on your Pixel device. Check your Google Pixel device is working normally or not. If not found any issue, it means any third party downloaded apps causing this app crashing issues. To exit safe mode on Google Pixel XL phone, press and hold the power button and tap on the Restart option. Delete one by one recently downloaded app and find an app that causing a problem. And remove it from your device.
If none of the above-given solutions fix the app crashing problem on Pixel XL, factory data reset your Google Pixel phone.
