1st Method: Check any system updates and app updates available

Check software updates is available for your Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device, it will fixes critical bugs & improves performance of your Pixel 2 phone.

Settings > System > System updates > Check for update

App updates on Google Pixel 2:

Check any apps update is available or not.

Play Store > Menu > my apps & games > Update all

2nd Method: Turn on safe mode Pixel 2 to fix Pixel 2 keeps rebooting itself

To find apps that causing issue, enable safe mode on Google Pixel 2 device.

Step 1: Press and hold the power button on your Google Pixel 2 device

Step 2: Touch and hold Power off button until show reboot to safe mode

Step 3: Press OK to reboot safe mode on Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL

It will take 30-60 seconds to reboot your device.

Step 4: View Safe mode symbol on left side below screen

Now check your Google Pixel 2 phone is working normally or not. If not found any problem, it means any third party app causing this issues. Delete one by one third party apps and find app that causing problem. Delete it from your device.

To exit safe mode on Pixel 2 phone, press and hold the power button and tap Restart button.

3rd Method: Factory reset Pixel 2

Step 1: Go to settings in your Pixel 2

Step 2: Tap system

Step 3: Tap Reset

Step 4: Tap factory data reset

Step 5: Tap Reset phone

Step 6: Tap Erase everything

It will remove all your personal information, Google & other created accounts, music, photos, third party apps etc. Now checks fix Google Pixel 2 restarting again and again.

4th Method: Wipe cache partition on Google Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL

Step 1: Turn off your Google Pixel and Pixel XL 8.0 device

Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrate.

You can view Android system recovery screen on your Oreo screen. By default start button show on your device.

Step 3: Press the volume down button until view recovery mode

Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode

Step 5: Press & hold power button and volume up buttons same time to scroll to wipe cache partition, press the power button to select it.

Step 6: To confirm, press volume down button to scroll to Yes and press the power button to select it.

Clearing the cache may take 4-5 minutes.

Step 7: Press the volume down buttons to scroll to reboot system now, press the power button to select it.
