Annoying by Google Pixel 2 keeps rebooting itself? Here are the possible ways to fix Google Pixel 2 restarting randomly. I am playing a game on my device and suddenly my Google Pixel 2 restarting itself. Sometimes when using more apps at the same time, my Pixel 2 random restarts and it’s annoying me. Also, Pixel 2 XL freezing or unresponsive sometimes and you can’t use your device smoothly.

Check System Updates and App Updates
Check software updates are available for your Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device, it will fix critical bugs & improves the performance of your Pixel 2 phone.
Settings > System > Advanced > System update > Check for update
Check App Updates on Google Pixel 2
Check any apps update is available or not.
Open Play Store > Menu > My apps & games > Update all
Turn On Safe Mode Pixel 2 to Fix Pixel 2 Restarting Randomly
To find apps that causing the issue, enable safe mode on Google Pixel 2 device.
Step 1: Press and hold the power button on your Google Pixel 2 device.
Step 2: Touch and hold the Power off button until show reboot to safe mode.
Step 3: Press OK to reboot safe mode on Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL.
It will take 30-60 seconds to reboot your device.
Step 4: View Safe mode symbol on the left side below the screen.
Now check your Google Pixel 2 phone is working normally. If not found any problem, it means any third party app causing this issue. Delete one by one third-party app until finding the app that causing a problem. Delete it from your device and re-install other apps again.
To exit safe mode on Pixel 2 phone, press and hold the power button and tap the Restart button.
Factory Reset Pixel 2 & 2 XL
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel 2.
Step 2: Tap System.
Step 3: Tap Advanced.
Step 4: Tap Reset options.
Step 5: Tap Erase all data (factory reset).
Step 6: Tap Erase all data.
Step 7: Tap again Erase all data.
It will remove all your personal information, Google & other created accounts, music, photos, third party apps, etc. Now checks fix Google Pixel 2 restarting again and again.
Factory Reset Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL Using Recovery Mode
Step 1: Turn off your Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.
You can view the Android system recovery screen on your screen. By default start button show on your device.
Step 3: Press the volume down button until view recovery mode.
Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode.

Step 5: Long press the power button, and press the volume up button one time only to view the recovery screen.
Step 6: Press the volume down button until select Wipe data/factory reset and press the power button to apply.

Step 7: To confirm, press the volume down button to scroll to Yes and press the power button to select it.
Clearing the cache may take 4-5 minutes.
Step 8: Press the volume down buttons to scroll to reboot system now, press the power button to select it.
