How to Turn On Safe Mode on Samsung Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4

By default, safe mode is hidden on your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, and other devices. In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to find hidden safe mode or turn on safe mode on Samsung Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4 devices. When you enter Safe mode on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, all third-party apps are disabled. You can access only system default apps on your Samsung phone. 

If your Samsung phone isn’t facing an issue in the safe mode, any downloaded app is causing the issue on your phone. Remove the recently installed apps one by one until you find the app causing the problem. After finding that app, delete it and re-install other apps. If your Samsung phone is causing the problem in safe mode, check for any hardware or software glitches. Restart your device to get Samsung Z Fold out of Safe mode.

How to Turn On Safe Mode on Samsung Z Fold 5 and Z Fold 4

Step 1: Long-press the side key (Power Key) until you view the power menu on your Samsung phone.

Step 2: Tap & hold the Power off until you view the Safe mode icon.

Step 3: Touch Safe mode to reboot your Samsung phone in the safe mode.

The safe mode icon is at the bottom right corner. All downloaded apps are disabled. Check your device facing the issue. If facing a problem, restart the Samsung phone to exit safe mode. Find the third-party app causing the issue and uninstall it. 

How to Enter Safe Mode Samsung Galaxy Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 when Power Off

Step 1: Touch & hold the power key until the Samsung logo appears.

Step 2: Touch and hold the volume down key until Safe mode is enabled on your Samsung phone.

Two ways to turn off safe mode on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold devices.

  • Long-press the power button until you view the power menu. Tap on Restart in the power menu. Touch again Restart to restart your phone to exit safe mode.
  • Pull down the notification shade at the top and touch on the Safe mode is on notification. Touch Turn off to disable safe mode on your Samsung phone.
