Here’s how to enable safe mode in OnePlus 9 Pro/OnePlus 9. Safe mode is useful to check any downloaded app causing problems in your phone like freezing or crashing issues. When you start your OnePlus in safe mode, this will disable all third-party apps you have installed. They will be restored when you reboot again. You can see safe mode icon at the bottom left corner when activating safe mode on your OnePlus 9 Pro/OnePlus 8 Pro/OnePlus 8 Oxygen OS.

Follow the below step-by-step guide to enable and use safe mode on your latest OnePlus Oxygen OS devices. Make sure to power on your OnePlus device.
Step 1: Tap & hold the power button to view the power menu.
Step 2: Tap & hold the Power off key until see Reboot to safe mode pop-up.
Step 3: Tap on OK.
Step 4: Restarting your phone into safe mode. The safe mode icon will display at the bottom left side.
Step 5: Check your OnePlus causing any issue into safe mode. If you didn’t found the issue, it means one of the third-party apps causing problems in your phone. Find the app that slows down your phone or frozen or app crashing issue and delete that app from your device. If you facing a problem in safe mode, check for hardware or OS related issues.

Step 1: Long press the Power key to see the power menu.

Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap See all apps.
