It will remove everything on your phone including your Samsung account, Google account, downloaded apps, videos, photos, and any other data. You can use this master format when your phone won’t turn on, unresponsive touchscreen, forgot password or pattern lock, black screen, and other issues.

Make sure to back up your important data before resetting your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel and tap the Power button.

Step 2: Tap Power off symbol.

Step 3: Tap & hold the Power button and volume up key simultaneously until view the Samsung logo.

You can see the Android recovery screen.

Step 4: Press the volume down button to highlight the Wipe data/factory reset.

Step 5: Press the Power button once to apply.
