To customize alert slider settings in OnePlus 6T Pie, check below given two different settings.
1st Method: Quickly mute or vibrate OnePlus 6T
You can see button (Alert slider) on the top right side corner of the phone screen. Tap alert slider button to silent, slide down button to middle to vibrate phone and slide down again to set ring mode in phone.
2nd Method: Use Alert slider in OnePlus 6T using buttons & gestures settings
Step 1: Swipe down notification panel from top of the screen
Step 2: Tap Settings gear icon
Step 3: Tap Buttons & gestures
In OnePlus 6T buttons & gestures settings, you can see Alert slider, Navigation bar & gestures, quick gestures, quick turn on camera and quick activate the assistant app for quickly launch Google Assistant to long press power button.
Step 4: Tap Alert slider

Silent
Calls and notifications will be silenced, except for alarms. Adjust alarms (Always ring) and media sound you want in your phone.
Vibration
Calls and notifications will be silenced and set to vibrate, except for alarms (Always ring).
Ring
Calls and notifications will ring when set phone as ring volume. Also turn on toggle also vibrate for calls option if you want to vibrate OnePlus 6T when you receive incoming call. So both ring and vibrate working when phone call.
