Here’s how to free up space on Google Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, Pixel 7a, and Pixel 6a 5G. You must check your phone storage if your Google Pixel faces issues like crashing or freezing the app when opening it, if Pixel runs slow, or can’t save the file.

To free up storage on Google Pixel phones, you must remove unused apps, photos, videos, or other unnecessary files. You can clear storage (Junk files) and clear the app cache & data if there are specific app problems.

1st Way: Free Up Space on your Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a, 6 Pro, 6, 6a 5G to Remove Trash Data

Step 1: Open the Files app on your Google Pixel device.

Step 2: Click Menu (Three horizontal lines) at the top left corner.

Note: Any file in the trash for 30 Days will be permanently deleted.

Step 4: Choose All items and tap Delete at the bottom right.

2nd Way: Free Up Space on Google Pixel using Google Photos 

Step 1: Open the Google Photos app on your Pixel phone.

3rd Way: Enable Smart Storage to Free Up Space on Google Pixel 7 Pro, 7, 7a, 6 Pro, 6, and 6a 5G

It will permanently remove the media backed up to Google Photos on your Google Pixel phone for 60 days.

Step 1: Open the Files app on your device.

Step 2: Tap Menu (Three horizontal lines) at the top left corner.

Step 3: Tap Settings.

4th Way: Delete Duplicates Files

5th Way: Delete Large Files

Step 1: Open the Files app on the Pixel device.

Step 2: Touch Delete large files.

You can uninstall the unused apps to free up storage on your Google Pixel devices.

Step 1: Open the Files app on a Google Pixel device.

Step 2: Scroll down and click Delete unused apps.

Step 3: Tick marks the Apps you want to delete and tap Uninstall at the bottom.
