Close All Apps Running in the Background
Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom, hold, then release to view all recently open apps list.
Step 2: Swipe screen right side and tap Clear all.
Reduce Screen Brightness
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap Display.
Step 3: Tap Brightness level and adjust it.
Disable or Stop Apps Background Data of Unnecessary Apps
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap See all apps.
Step 4: Select the App.
Step 5: Tap Mobile data & Wi-Fi.
Step 6: Toggle off Background data.
Disable Auto-sync on Pixel
When enabling auto-sync in your phone, it will automatically refresh data in the background that causing the issue sometimes.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Accounts.
Step 3: At the end of the page, toggle off Automatically sync app data.
