1^st Method: Delete individual contacts from Android Pie, Oreo, Nougat

Step 1: Open app drawer and tap contacts app icon

Step 2: Tap Three vertical dots (More) at upper right corner

Step 3: Touch select

You can see list of contacts in your android phone or tablet devices.

Step 4: Long press contact number to select it

Step 5: Tap again three vertical dots (More) at upper right corner

 

Step 6: Select delete

You can see this message on your android device screen: This contact will be removed from Google contacts and all your synced devices.

Step 7: Tap delete

Now remove selected contacts from your android phone or tablet devices.

2^nd Method: Delete all contacts from Android 9 Pie

You can remove Google contacts or delete all android contacts using below given settings in your Google Pixel 9.0 Pie and other supported android 9 Pie devices.

Step 1: Tap contacts app icon from app drawer in your android phone

Step 2: Tap Three vertical dots at upper right corner

Step 3: Touch select all

Now you can see all contacts selected in your android Pie 9.0, Oreo 8.1 and Nougat 7.1.2 devices.

Step 4: Tap again More (Three vertical dots) at upper right corner of the screen

Step 5: Select Delete

You can see pop up message on the screen in your device.

Step 6: Tap Delete again
