  1. how do you turn a touch screen off when the screen wont register any type of touch?

    • thank u!👍 i said the same thing do they not understand the meaning of an oxymoron???lol i woke up this mornin & 4 some reason my touch screen has decided it doesn’t want 2 work, when only a few hours ago it was working fine?????

    • Use this method to restart your Samsung without touch the screen: Hold down the Volume Down Key and the Power Button simultaneously until your device will restart.

  2. Anthony Wing – Exactly what I was thinking. My phone is on. It was not dropped. I just checked my phone this morning to see what time it is and the screen remained black. However, I see the blue light blinking on the top left. When I hit the bottom center home button I feel my phone vibrate. Holding the power button does not accomplish anything. I do not want to attempt to factory reset my phone because of important data. So I was assuming the only option I have is to let the battery die and attempt to charge again to see if it’ll turn on. It may take a few days for a fully charged phone to die though.

  3. I fixed my issue. All you have to do is hold the power button and the volume down button for 10 seconds (Or until the phone resets). It reset and I’m back up and running.

  4. lol how the hell can i tap on ANYTHING when the touch screen isn’t working in the 1st place?!?!?!?!?!?!?!lol😣
