How to use smart lock trusted devices in Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus         

By default disable smart lock option in your Samsung galaxy S9 and S9 plus devices. First of all setup a screen lock to use this future using below settings.

Step 1: Go to settings in your S9 & S9 plus

Step 2: Tap on Lock screen and security

Step 3: Tap screen lock type in Phone security section

Here you can see Swipe, Pattern lock, PIN number, Password and none options.

Step 4: Choose option and follow on screen instruction to set screen lock

Step 5: After set up screen lock, go back to lock screen and security settings

Step 6: Tap on Smart lock

Step 7: Enter the PIN or Password you set for unlock screen

You can see four options including on-body detection, trusted places, trusted devices and trusted voice.

Step 8: Tap on Trusted devices

Step 9: Tap on Add trusted device

Step 10: Choose device you want to add

Make sure turned on Bluetooth and connected to the device you want to use. You can see pop-up message on screen: Add trusted device?

Step 11: Tap YES, ADD

Now your device will unlock whenever it connected to the device. This added device unlocked automatically when it’s nearby.
