By default turn off now playing on Pixel phone. Here’s how to turn on now playing on Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6. When you enable now playing on your Pixels, it will automatically identify songs playing nearby your device. You can see the name of shows & artists of songs on the lock screen. Also, see now playing music history that identifies on your device. You can individually delete it or remove all now playing history at once on your Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel twice and tap on the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Sound and vibration.
Step 3: Scroll again and tap on Now playing.
Step 4: Toggle on Identify songs playing nearby.
When you toggle on, you can see the notifications option for music recognized. You can enable or disable it.
Step 5: Now, playing a song near your device. You can view the song name and artist on your lock screen.
Alternative Way: Settings > Display > Lock screen under lock display section > Now playing > Toggle on Identify songs playing nearby
How to See Now Playing Music History on Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6
Step 1: Go to Phone settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap the Sound and vibration.
Step 3: Scroll again and tap the Now playing.
Step 4: Tap on Now playing history.
Step 5: A list of songs appears here.
How to Delete Now Playing History on Google Pixel 6 Pro
Step 1: Go to Phone settings.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Sound and vibration.
Step 3: Scroll again and tap Now playing.
Step 4: Tap on Now playing history.
Step 5: Tap & hold the song and tap the Trash icon to delete the individual songs.
Step 6: Tap Three vertical dots (More) and tap on Remove all.
Step 7: Tap on Remove to remove all songs from now playing history on your Pixels.
