Here’s how to enable always on display on Pixel 4a. You can see date & time, battery percentage, weather, and other details on the AOD screen (Ambient display) when turning on Pixel 4a always-on display. You can enable or disable it using the lock screen section in display settings in your Pixel 4a (5G) devices. Also, use double-tap to check the phone and lift to check the phone to show information on Always-on display. If you don’t want to wake up screen for new notifications, you can disable it using this setting.

How to Enable Always on Display on Google Pixel 4a 5G
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top of the screen and tap the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on the Display setting.
Step 3: Tap on Advanced.
Step 4: Scroll down the end of the page and tap on the Lock screen.
Step 5: Turn on Always show time and info toggle.
Step 6: Now, press the power button in your Pixel to lock the phone and you can see the date & time, weather, app notification icon, and battery percentage at the bottom on Always-on a display screen.

How to Hide Notifications Content on Pixel 4a Lock Screen
By default show all notifications in your device. You can change lock screen notifications on Pixel 4a lock using the below settings.

Step 4: Tap on the Lock screen at the end.
Step 5: Tap on Notifications on lock screen.
You can see three options including Show all notification content/Show sensitive content only when unlocked/Don’t show notifications at all.
