Here’s how to enable active edge on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. Google Pixel 2 (XL) use a new squeeze function is called Active edge. Using this Squeeze gesture, you will quickly launch Google Assistant to squeeze the bottom half of your phone. How to Use Active Edge on Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2
This Enable active edge on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL allows users to squeeze the edges to launch the Google Assistant. Also, change Squeeze sensitivity as a light squeeze or firm squeeze. In the HTC U11 device, this feature helps to launch various apps such as camera, Amazon Alexa, etc.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap the System.
Step 3: Tap Gestures.
Step 4: Tap Active Edge.
Step 5: Toggle on Squeeze for your Assistant to activate it.
Alternative Way (Stock Android 11 OS): Settings > Apps & notifications > Advanced > Default apps > Digital Assistant app > Active Edge > Toggle on Squeeze for your Assistant.
