By default enable always-on display in your Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, etc. When use always-on display in Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, your screen wake up while getting any notifications on your screen. You can see notifications, date & time, battery percentage, and temperature in your AOD screen. This always-on display feature slightly consumes the battery life of your Pixel devices. So, here i’ll show you steps to disable Always on display Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2. In Google Pixel and Pixel XL device, you can see ambient display instead of Always-on display. You can see different color notifications on screen.

How to Enable/Disable Always on Display Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2
Several users reported sometimes this notification on screen is distract you from your work or lost concentration. If you annoying by this feature, turn off always on display on Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device.
Turn Off Always-on Display Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2
Step 1: Go to Settings in your Pixel 2 & 2 XL.
Step 2: Tap Display.
Step 3: Tap Advanced.
Step 4: Tap Lock Screen.
Step 5: Toggle off Always show time and info.
Now lock your phone and touch on screen and you can’t see date, time and remaining battery percentage at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6: Toggle off Wake screen for notifications at the end.
Now, whenever you receive a notifications on your Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL device, you can’t see notifications and time on your Pixel screen.
Step 7: Toggle on Wake screen for notifications to show notifications on AOD screen when you receive a new notifications.
