Here’s how to set up face unlock in OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8. You can easily enable face recognition using security and lock screen settings in your OnePlus 8/8 Pro. Unlock your phone with your face as soon as the screen turns on without swiping first. Also, temporarily disable face unlock if you don’t want to use it.

How to Set Up and Use Face Unlock on OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8
Step 1: Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Security & lock screen.
Step 3: Tap on Face unlock in the device security section.
Confirm your lock screen if set up.
Step 4: Tap on Add face data under the Face management section.
Step 5: Tap on Next.
Step 6: Position your face inside the circle. Make sure a bright environment and clean your face. Wait until see “Face data has been added” message on the screen.
Step 7: Tap Next.
Now, below given face unlock settings show in your device.
Face Unlock: You can turn face unlock on/off using this if you want to disable it. You don’t need to set up face unlock again if turn off toggle.
Auto unlock once the screen is on: It will quickly unlock your phone without swiping when you look at your phone screen.
Face Unlock assistant lighting: If your camera cannot recognize your face, the screen will light up to help the camera recognize you.

Settings > Security & lock screen > Face unlock > Toggle off “Face unlock”
