Want to add fingerprint on your OnePlus 8 Pro? Here’s how to set up fingerprint recognition in OnePlus 8 Pro/OnePlus 8. You can use more than one fingerprint on your device. When you first time set up lock screen security, you need to set up PIN/Pattern/Password for backup. We use biometric security to secure phone with other people like a fingerprint, face unlock, or another smart lock. Also, use your fingerprint to authorize purchases and app access. How to Add Fingerprints on OnePlus 8 Pro/OnePlus 8
Step 1: Open app drawer and tap on the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Security & lock screen.
Step 3: Tap Fingerprint.
Step 4: Choose a backup screen lock from Fingerprint+Pattern/Fingerprint+PIN/ Fingerprint+Password.
Step 5: We choose a pattern and draw the pattern and tap Confirm.
Step 6: Again draw the pattern lock and tap Confirm.
Step 7: Choose lock screen content you want (By default set “Show all notification content”) and tap Done.
Step 8: Tap on Next.
Step 9: Press & make your finger on the fingerprint area, then lift after you feel a vibration. You can see “Fingerprint added” when complete the process.
Step 10: Tap “Add another” from the bottom left corner to add new fingerprint or Tap “Done” at the bottom right corner to finish.

Settings > Security & Lock screen > Fingerprint unlock under the device security section > Add fingerprint > Press your finger on the in-display fingerprint scanner until complete the process
