Do you want to hide videos or photos on Google Pixel 4a, 5a, 6a, and Pixel 7a without third-party apps? Here’s how to hide photos in a gallery on Pixel 7a, Pixel 6a, Pixel 5a, and Pixel 4a. You can show or hide pictures, videos, and files on your Pixel devices using a safe folder. A lock (PIN or Pattern lock) protects all files in a safe folder. Open the files app and select pictures, videos, audio, and documents (Exclude apps) you want to hide on your Google Pixel. Also, download third-party apps from the play store to hide or lock files or apps on your Pixel devices.

How to Hide Videos or Photos in Google Pixel 4a, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6a, and Pixel 7a Using Safe Folder
Step 1: Open the app drawer on your Pixel and tap the Files app.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap the Safe folder.
You can see options like Downloads, Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Internal storage, and more.
Step 3: Enter the PIN or Pattern and tap Next.
Step 4: Select the pictures, videos, or files you want to hide and tap the Menu at the upper right.
Step 5: Tap Move to safe folder.
Step 6: Enter the PIN and tap Next.
Select files transferred to the safe folder and delete them from your Pixel gallery.

Step 1: Open the App drawer and tap File app.
Step 2: Tap the Safe folder under the collection section.
Step 3: Enter the PIN and tap Next.
Now, a list of transferred data is viewed, such as pictures, videos, files, etc.
How to Remove Photos from Safe Folder in Pixel 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a
Step 1: Go to the App drawer and Open the File app.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on the Safe folder.
Step 3: Enter the PIN and tap Next.
Step 4: Select the photos & videos and tap on Three vertical dots (Menu) in the upper right corner.
Step 5: Tap Move out to the safe folder.
You can see get back hidden photos and videos in your phone gallery.
How to Hide Safe Folder on Google Pixel 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a
Step 1: Open the App drawer and tap the File app.
Step 2: Tap Three vertical dots.
Step 3: Tap the Hide Safe folder.
Step 4: Now, hide a safe folder from the file app.
Step 5: Tap on Three vertical dots again and tap the Show Safe folder.
You can view the safe folder in your files app on Pixel devices.
How to Change Lock of Safe Folder on Pixel 4a, 5a, 6a, Pixel 7a 5G
Note: Safe folder can’t be opened again if you forget the pattern.
Step 1: Open the Files app on your Pixel.
Step 2: Tap Three horizontal lines at the upper left corner.
Step 3: Tap Settings.
Step 4: Tap the Safe folder under the browse section.
Step 5: Tap Change lock.
Step 6: Enter the current screen lock and tap Next.
Step 7: Choose PIN or Pattern.
