Turn Off Screen & Turn it On

This method worked for several users. Just press the power button to turn off the screen and press it again after 5-10 seconds to turn it on. 

Remove Screen Protector

You are trying to remove your Pixel screen protector and check the touch screen responsiveness.

Manually Check Software Update

Step 1: Open the Settings app in the app drawer.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap System.

Step 3: Tap System update.

Fix Pixel 6 Pro Touch Screen Issues

Step 4: Tap Check for update.

Make sure to Enable Increase Touch Sensitivity on your Pixels (Android 12)

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 2: Scroll and tap Display.

Step 3: Scroll down at the bottom of the screen and toggle on Increase touch sensitivity.

Reboot your Pixel 6/Pixel 6 Pro

Long press the power button until it automatically turns on your Pixel.

Step 1: Tap & hold the power button on your Pixel 6/6 Pro.

Step 2: Long-press the Power off when the power menu displays. 

Step 3: You can see “Reboot to safe mode” pop-up on the screen. 

Step 4: Tap on OK to enter your Pixel 6 Pro into safe mode.

Step 5: You can see the Safe mode icon at the bottom left corner.

Now, only system default apps are available in your Pixels (Hide third-party apps). Now, check if any problem occurs. If you’re Pixel 6 Pro working fine, that means any third-party app causing the problem. Check recently installed apps and delete them until they fix the problem. Reboot your Pixel to disable Safe mode.

Factory Reset Google Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6

Back up your data before factory data reset your Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer and tap on the Settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap the System.

Step 3: Scroll down at the end of the page and tap the Reset options.

Step 4: Tap the Erase all data (factory reset).

Step 5: Tap the Erase all data.

Step 6: Enter your PIN, Password, or Pattern lock to continue the process.

Step 7: Tap the Erase all data.

Wait until reboot your Google Pixel device. If you can’t access phone settings, you can use recovery mode to factory reset or hard reset (Power & Volume buttons) Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 6.
