Forced Restart

Press & hold the power key for 10 seconds. If the Google logo displays, release the power key and wait to turn on your Pixel screen. If you still have a black screen or the phone won’t turn on, follow the below method.

Check Fully Discharged

If your phone battery is fully discharged, there isn’t power to turn on. Put your Pixel for charging using the original charger. Wait until 25-30 minutes and press the power button and see the screen turn on.

Check for Damage Screen

Plug your Pixel into a charger and check for the battery icon. If battery icon view, long-press the power button for 20-25 seconds to reboot. If neither shows, that may be issued with the screen. Hold down the power key for 20-25 seconds, and wait to screen turns on. Try to call from another device and see if lights up. If rings but does not blink light, the screen is likely damaged.

Faulted Battery

If plugging the phone for charging doesn’t charge your Pixel, try replacing the battery.

System Crash

If you recently updated your device to the latest version, it may be possible to face a system crash issue. Hold the power button for 15 seconds to see reboot your phone.

Boot into Recovery Mode to Wipe data/Factory reset your Pixel 5

Make sure to back up & restore your important data before performing the below-given settings. It will delete all your phone data and reset default factory settings.

Step 1: Press & hold the power button and volume down button for 10 seconds and release it when you see the Start menu.

If you can see the start menu, then follow the below-given steps. If your screen won’t power on, follow the next solution.

Step 2: Press the volume down button until view Recovery Mode.

Step 3: Press the Power button once.

Step 4: Now, No command message appears on the screen.

Step 5: Press & hold the power button, and still press the volume up key once only.

Step 6: Press the volume down button until highlight Wipe data/factory reset.

Step 7: Press the Power button once.

This message view: Wipe all user data?

Step 8: Press the Volume down button to highlight Factory data reset.

Step 9: Press the Power button to reset your Pixel.

Step 10: Press the Power button reboot system now on your device.
