Here’s how to factory reset S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra 5G. You can factory reset your Samsung Galaxy without a password using phone settings. Remember your screen lock (Pattern, PIN, Password, or Biometric Security) to unlock it once. When you factory reset the Samsung S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, it will delete all your phone data, including your Samsung account, Google account, images, videos, downloaded apps, and other data. Make sure to back up your data before resetting your Samsung phone. You can use a Samsung smart switch to back your data to an SD card or USB storage device.

You can also hard reset your Samsung Galaxy S23 using recovery mode settings if you forget your password. If your Samsung phone touchscreen is unresponsive, has a black screen of death, or won’t open, you can use the power and volume down buttons to factory reset your Samsung Galaxy devices. That’s called a hard reset or master reset.

Back up your data before performing a factory reset on Galaxy devices.

Step 1: Go to the app drawer and tap on Settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on General Management.

Step 3: Tap the Reset.

Step 6: Unlock your phone using Fingerprint or Face unlock.

All your data and third-party apps will be deleted. Data backed up to your SD card won’t be deleted. A smart switch can quickly restore your SD card data after the reset.

How to Reset All Settings on Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

This process resets all the settings on your phone, including personal data, security settings, downloaded apps, language settings, and your accounts (Samsung, Google, etc.).

Step 1: Go to the app drawer and tap on Settings app.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on General Management.

Step 3: Tap the Reset.

Step 4: Tap Reset all settings.

Step 5: Tap Reset settings.

Step 6: Unlock your device and tap on Reset to delete all settings to defaults.
