How to Use Gestures in Pixel 5
You can turn gestures on using given settings in your Pixel devices running the latest stock Android version.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel from the top and tap the Settings icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on System.
Step 3: Tap on Gestures.
Below given Pixel 5 gestures are available.
Swipe fingerprint for notifications: Enable it to quickly check notifications to swipe down on the fingerprint sensor on the back of your Pixel 5.
Quickly open camera: Double press the power button to access the camera from any screen.
Flip camera to selfie: Double-twist your phone when open the camera app to quickly switch between camera mode.
System navigation: Choose navigation style from fully gesture navigation or 3-button navigation in your Pixel.
Tap to check phone: Tap on your screen to check notifications, time, and other information.
Lift to check phone: Pick up your phone to view notifications, date & time, and other information.
Prevent Ringing: Press the power & volume up key at the same time to vibrate or mute your phone.
Flip to Shhh: To activate do not disturb mode, put your phone face down on a flat surface. You’ll feel a vibration when Do not disturb turns on.
Power menu: It will show device controls when your press the power button. This is a newly added feature in stock Android 11 (Pixel) devices.
