How to Clear Cache on Pixel 5
If any app crashing or freezing, or slow down your phone, first of all, try to clear the app cache using the given settings.
Step 1: Swipe down the notification panel at the top and touch on the Settings gear icon.
Step 2: Tap Apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap See all apps.
Step 4: Select the App from the list.
Step 5: Tap Storage & cache.
Step 6: Tap Clear cache.
How to Clear System Cache (Wipe cache/factory reset) Using Recovery Mode Pixel 5
This wipe cache/factory reset will delete all your phone data. Make sure to back up & restore data before applying it.
Step 1: Long press the power button and tap Power at the top.
Step 2: Tap on Power off to switch off your latest Pixel.
Step 3: Tap & hold the power key and volume down key same time until the Start menu appears.
Step 4: Press the volume down key until view Recovery mode.
Step 5: Press the Power key to select.
Step 6: You can see No command message on the screen.
Step 7: Press & hold the power key and still press the volume up key once to view the Android recovery menu.
Step 8: Press the volume down button until highlight Wipe data/factory reset.
Step 9: Press the Power key once.
Step 10: Press the Volume down key to highlight factory data reset.
Step 11: Press the Power key to apply it.
Wait until wiping the data in your Pixel device.
Step 12: Press the Power key to reboot the system now.
