In this tutorial, I’ll explain how to change app shortcuts on Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 7a, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6a 5G (Running Androd 14). You can set the left or right shortcut on the Pixel lock screen from the camera, video, Do not disturb, flashlight, mute, QR code, and device home. By default, none is selected. How to Change App Shortcuts on Pixel 7 Pro, 7, 7a, 6 Pro, 6, 6a (Android 14)
Follow the below-given steps to change lock screen app shortcuts on your Google Pixel devices.
Step 1: Tap and hold the blank area of the home screen.
Step 2: Tap Wallpaper & Style.
Step 3: Tap the Lock screen at the top left.
Step 4: Tap Shortcuts.
Step 5: Tap the Left shortcut and select the function you want to access from you’re Pixel lock screen.
Step 6: Tap the Right shortcut and select the function you want to access from you’re Pixel lock screen.
Lock your phone, and you can see a left or right shortcut to access them quickly.
How to Enable Themed Icons for Any App Using Shortcut Maker App
Install the shortcut maker app on your Android phone and tablet.
Step 1: Tap & hold the blank space on your home screen.
Step 2: Tap Widgets.
Step 3: Search Shortcut Maker and drag it to the home screen.
Step 4: Choose an App.
Step 5: Find the App.
Step 6: Tap the Icon tab.
Step 7: Tap Themed and select the color you want to set.
You can adjust the icon size, also.
Step 8: Tap the Right arrow at the top right.
Now, change the app-themed icon on your Android device.
How to Change App Icons on Google Pixel
You can use themed icons to change the app icons (Color) for system default apps on the home screen of your Pixel device.
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tap Wallpaper & Style.
Step 3: Toggle on Themed icons.
Step 4: Choose a color from wallpaper colors or Other colors you want to set on the app.
