You can easily add app to home screen on your Pixel and other android device using below settings.
Step 1: Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen to access the app drawer.
Step 2: Tap & hold the app and move it to the home screen.
Now add that app to your Pixel 3 home screen.
Remove Apps From Pixel 3 Home Screen
Long press the app and drag it Remove from top of the home screen.
Create a new folder on Pixel 3 home screen
Want to create a folder on your Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL? You’ll create a folder on Pixel 3 XL home screen only.
Step 1: Long press app and drag it to another app on the home screen to make a folder.
Step 2: Tap folder & touch unnamed folder.
Step 3: Enter a folder name you want to set.
You can add or remove the app from the folder and change a folder name anytime you want in your android phone or tablet devices.
Add app icon to a home screen in Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL
If you want to automatically add a new downloaded app icon to the home screen, enable it using below given settings in your Pixel devices.
Long press on the blank space in Pixel 3 home screen > Home settings > Add icon to the home screen
