There are two ways to start Android in safe mode when power on & power off your device.
1st Method: Turn On Safe Mode Android Pie 9 When Power On Your Device
Step 1: Press and hold the Power button on your Android 9 Pie.
Step 2: Long press Power off button until view “Reboot to safe mode”.
Step 3: Press “OK” to boot into safe mode.
Now, wait until reboot your android 9 Pie device.
Step 4: You can view the “Safe mode” symbol at the bottom left corner.
