Step 1: Swipe down notification panel and tap Settings icon
Step 2: Scroll down at the end of the page and tap About phone

Step 3: Tap Build number 7 times or tap build number up to see this message on screen: You are now a developer
Now turn on developer mode in your Huawei P20 Pro or P20 Lite device. You can use several hidden settings in your device.
