Want to speed up your Android Oreo? Here’s how to disable animations on Android Oreo 8.0 & 8.1 to speed up and improve your device performance. This animation feature helpful while switching between apps or other activities. One of the disadvantages of this feature is to drain your phone battery. You’ll disable or change the animation scale in your Android devices under developer mode settings. There are three types of animation available including Windows animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale.

How to Disable Animations on Android Oreo 8.1 and 8.0
First of all, enable developer options in your Android Oreo using the below steps.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your android Oreo devices.
Step 2: Tap on System.
Step 3: Tap on About phone.
Step 4: Scroll down at the end of the page and tap on Build number 7 times.
You can see this message on the screen: You are now a developer!
To see developer options settings go to Settings > system > Developer options
In Oreo developer options, you can see several options such as memory usage by apps, USB debugging, logger buffer size, USB configuration, OEM unlocking, debug app, and more.
To speed up your android Oreo, disable all animations in android Oreo 8.1 & 8.0 using the below settings.
Step 1: Go to Settings in your android Oreo devices.
Step 2: Tap on System.
Step 3: Tap on Developer options.
Step 4: Find the Drawing section in developer settings.
Here you can see the Windows animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale options. By default set animation scale set 1X in all three options.
Step 5: Tap on the Windows animation scale.
Step 6: Choose Animation off to disable it.
Now change the animation scale of the other two options in your android Oreo you want to set. If you don’t want to disable the animation scale, choose from 0.5x/1x/1.5x/2x/5x/10x.
